| Description | This extraordinary 12 inch plate features a Blush, or Rose and Mint hues, in the background, creating a subtly beautiful accent to the spectacular floral motif of Roses, buds and intricate gilt work. The elegantly designed edges are scalloped and overlaid with gilt, and 3 tiny roses compliment the circumference. The reverse identifies the piece as Schumann, Arzberg, Germany, with a Red Crown and Lion Shield. This mark is thought to have been for china products created circa 1950. There is a hand-painted "26", and the number 40 is also noted. In excellent condition, it has but one small wear mark on the exterior gilt.
